Cutting out the inner parts
A radius of 20mm was used for the corners. This forstner bit is 38 mm diameter which is close enough. The radius points are marked using the point of the bit. They could have been incorporated in the drawing but this works fine. The area to the left is where the fore and aft pieces join and was sawn out with the bandsaw.
