Almost ready
The box calls for an 8 to 9 pound finished weight. Here the plane is 8 pounds, 15 ounces with retracts. I believe the box weight would be for the fixed gear. The CG is far off though and it looks like it will need 9 ounces in the tail to balance. At this stage about five has been placed and the battery moved back. This should make it close. Looks like the wing loading will be around 33 ounces per square foot. That's higher than I would like on 648 sq. inches but not so bad......I hope! With having to add tail weight it makes me think back to that pile of shavings on the shop floor taken off the tail surfaces. Oh well...
